According to the Communiqué on Air Aromatizer Products published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Türkiye, products that emit pleasant scents into the environment via an substance (fragrance) using a propellant gas, mechanical means, or through absorption into a material are defined as “air aromatizer products.”
It must be stated that in Türkiye, the Communiqué regarding Air Aromatizing Products numbered 28807 and dated 31 October 2013, was in force. However; this Communiqué has been repealed in 2017. In the absence of any replacement publication from the Ministry of Customs and Trade, current labelling regulations must adhere to the stipulations outlined in the most recent Communiqué concerning market surveillance and inspection activities.

Labelling requirements for air aromatizer products are also outlined in the Communiqué. Labels must include the following information:
- Name and address of the manufacturer,
- Address of the production site,
- If applicable, name and address of the contract manufacturer,
