- Manufacturers and downstream users based in Great Britain are advised to make NPIS notifications.
- To make an NPIS notification, information relating to hazardous mixtures placed on the market, including precautionary details and information for emergency health response, must be submitted using the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) .
- NPIS will not have access to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) poison centre notification (PCN).

Yes. NPIS and PCN notifications are separate obligations. Since NPIS (National Poisons Information Service) does not have access to poison centre notifications submitted under ECHA, a separate notification must be made as required.
