Key Stages of Preparing the Ingredient Data Sheet in Türkiye
- Detergents and surfactants used in detergents placed on the market must comply with both the Regulation on Detergents and the Biocidal Products Regulation, as well as the specific requirements and restrictions outlined in these legislations.
- Detergents and surfactants used in detergents placed on the market must fully comply with the Detergent Regulation and, where relevant, with the Biocidal Products Regulation. They also should meet any specific requirements and restrictions set out in these regulations where applicable.
- Tests performed to demonstrate compliance with the Regulation must be conducted correctly. These tests must follow the provisions of the By-Law on Test Methods for Determining the Physicochemical, Toxicological, and Ecotoxicological Properties of Substances and Mixtures and Annex-1 of the Regulation on Detergents.

The information contained in the data sheet must be kept confidential by the competent authority and medical personnel and used solely for medical purposes.
- For detergents made available to consumers, it is mandatory to include correct labelling information on how the Ingredient Data Sheet can be obtained.
Ingredient Data Sheet Includes
The Ingredient Data Sheet shall be prepared in accordance with Annex 7, Section C of the Regulation and shall contain the following information:
- Name of the detergent
- Name of the manufacturer
- Ingredients listed in descending order by weight
- CAS numbers of the ingredients
- The INCI terminology of the substances or, where this is not available, the European Pharmacopoeia name (where neither of these names is available, the common chemical name or IUPAC name is used)
Manufacturers shall keep the Content Data Sheet on their websites, except for the following information:
- Information on weight percentage distribution is not required.
- CAS numbers of substances are not required.
- Perfume, essential oil or colouring agent is considered a single substance and none of the substances contained therein shall be listed.
